Tile 1 · the factor edition picker, opened from Replace lock
Spec iii 6.1 is the vintage picker this dialog draws; "factor edition" is this set's user-facing word for the spec term "vintage", and the internal term never reaches the product surface. The opening explainer is required by R-w-7: what an edition is, what choosing one means, and that staging editions never appear. The source-state summary under the edition name is read from the edition record, not typed by anyone.
Tile 2 · the replacement confirmation, drawn on a later day when edition 2027.0 has been published
From and to are shown because the replacement has a known source (design rule: a replacement with a known source always names both ends). Today edition 2027.0 is a staging edition with 2 open validation findings, so it cannot appear in the picker yet; this drawing is the day after it publishes. The confirmation carries the reason and the recourse, never a bare warning.
Tile 3 · the completion re-check report, shown when a lock completes or is replaced

Spec i erratum 2026-08-31c: completing or replacing a lock re-validates existing entries against the chosen edition, and the result surfaces as this report in words, never as a bare code. The failed check names the problem and links the affected row; the finding is the same Thailand district cooling coverage gap the results that need attention page draws at compute time, in the same coverage-gap state world.
Annotation · not proposed UISpec iii 7.3 · the lock card contract. The complete lock carries exactly the values drawn: GWP set, boundary approach, energy convention, calculation rule set, factor edition, and who locked it when. There is no per-row edit; the only change path is replacing the whole lock, which is what keeps every figure in a cycle internally consistent. The factor edition row's copy is served under content ID
cycles.methodology.factorVintage; content IDs are a design position for this set and appear in annotations only.Annotation · not proposed UISpec iii 6.1 · the vintage picker. The picker lists published editions only, newest first, each with the source-state summary recorded at publish time. The spec's word is "vintage"; the product says "factor edition" everywhere. Staging editions, such as 2027.0 currently sitting in validation with 2 findings, are invisible to tenants by rule, not by filtering they can undo.
Annotation · not proposed UIPermanence copy is written to a standing rule: a value that cannot be edited always says why it is fixed (comparability and auditability of computed figures) and what the recourse is (replace the lock, then recompute). A bare "cannot be changed" is rejected wording in this set.
Annotation · question for the PMOne open drawing question. Tile 3 draws the re-check as non-blocking: the lock can complete with open coverage findings, and the engine refuses the affected figures at compute time rather than computing them wrongly. Spec i erratum 2026-08-31c requires the re-check; whether completion may also be hard-blocked on a finding is not settled by the erratum text and is drawn the permissive way here, consistent with the refusal model of spec iii.
