What the methodology text will say
Composed guidance (placeholder): the methodology text generated from the stamps above reads: Gross Scope 1 emissions were calculated under the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard using the operational control boundary. Emission factors come from factor edition 2026.1, drawing on the DESNZ UK 2026 file, revision 2, with global warming potentials from IPCC AR6. Fuel energy content uses net calorific values.
Annotation · not proposed UISpec iii 5.6. The sentences above are assembled from the run's
methodologyFacts stamps, never typed by a user and never edited after the fact. If a stamp changes, only a new compute run can change the sentence. | ||||||

Annotation · not proposed UIFigures display at two decimals; stored precision is higher and exports carry it. Rows expand via the chevron; the Jurong Plant row is drawn expanded.
Annotation · not proposed UIClicking a row or its chevron expands the row's lineage inline, the way the Jurong Plant row is drawn above; clicking again closes it.

Variants · the same table in other truthful states
Same columns, same world, different moments. The two row variants are drawn as single rows so the change is easy to compare against the main table above; the banner variant sits above the table when it applies.
Variant · the market-based row before anyone has entered a figure
"Not entered" in words, never a zero and never a blank cell: a zero would claim the company's contracts eliminated its Scope 2, which is a very different statement from "nobody has entered it yet". The location-based row above it keeps rendering normally, because the pair rule cuts both ways: neither half of Scope 2 ever hides the other. The way in is the named link to the instruments page.
Variant · a lineage block where a stand-in factor was used and disclosed
When the engine fills a coverage gap with a factor from another country, the substitution is disclosed on the lineage, named in plain words, and carried into the composed methodology text. It is never silent. The internal flag behind this row is
proxyFlag; the word "proxy" does not reach the screen. In the main drawing above the Jurong Plant figure used no stand-in, so its row says "None" rather than omitting the row.Variant · the out-of-date banner when entries changed after the run
Drawn per W2-4: the banner states the fact and offers the action; refusal messages stay on their rows regardless of the banner. It appears above the table whenever an entry changed after the published run.
Annotation · not proposed UISpec iii 3.12 · own and consolidated are always separate columns. Own is what the unit itself produced or consumed; consolidated adds everything beneath it in the frozen org scope (frozen at cycle activation, 15 Jan 2026). The two are never merged into one ambiguous number, and a refused consolidated never hides a servable own figure; the results that need attention page draws that case. For a unit with no children the two columns show the same value; the repetition is deliberate, not redundant. Display precision is two decimals set-wide (UX-1); the stored figures keep more decimal places and exports carry the stored precision.
Annotation · not proposed UISpec iii 7.2 · the Method column renders from the figure's
figureKind. Only plain words reach the screen: "Added up" for figures summed from activity entries, "Entered once" for figures a person entered as a single value, such as the market-based Scope 2 figure. The intensity rows carry the chip "Worked out from two figures" because they are ratios of figures already in this table; their numerators and denominator are named in the row itself, not hidden in a tooltip.Annotation · not proposed UISpec iii 6.1 · every stamp in the expanded row is frozen with the run. Factor edition, document versions, GWP set family, rule set version, energy convention, engine and formula versions, and the run id are recorded when run 000318 computes and never mutate afterwards. Recomputing produces a new run with its own stamps; it does not rewrite these. That is what makes the composed methodology sentence trustworthy a year later.
Annotation · not proposed UIW2-4 · the out-of-date banner. When entries change after the run, this table shows a banner stating that the figures do not reflect the latest inputs and offering to run the calculation; the banner links to the results that need attention worklist. Refusals stay on their rows regardless of the banner. Round 3: the toolbar count line carries a permanent link to that worklist, so it is reachable when nothing is wrong. Run 000318 is current in the drawn world, so the main table above carries no banner; the banner itself is drawn as the labeled variant tile in the gallery.
